Peter Kotland wins with new course record (21:52:51) and new run record (5:33:57)!
Tracy Preston wins the women’s race at 34:08:30! Peter’s new record breaks Gary Shields’ time that has stood since 1990.
The second day’s conditions were terrible – rain almost all day (the 2nd day’s course takes place mostly on the windward side of the island) with horrendous cross winds over the Kohala Mountains.
Day three made up for it though, with high overcast, light winds and relatively cooler temperatures.
